Kiron Atom Tellian

Kiron Atom Tellian was born 2002 in Vienna, Austria and began studying the piano when he was five years old. Since 2010 Kiron studies at the „mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna” currently in the class of Prof. Vladimir Kharin. He also studies composition since 2009.

Kiron won prizes, first prizes and special prizes at national and international competitions for piano, chamber music and composition in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Slovakia and the USA and played at many concerts in Austria and abroad.

Recent acomplishments: First prizes at the “Bundeswettbewerb prima la musica” Linz 2016. First Prize at the composers competition “Jugend komponiert” in Salzburg 2016. First prize at the 11th Lagny-sur-Marne International Piano Competition 2017. First prize and with special prizes at the 15th Peter Toperczer International Piano Competition Košice (Slovakia) 2017. First prize at the “Bundeswettbewerb prima la musica 2017” in the category Piano Chamber Music with own composition “Wahnsee”. First prizes in three Categories at the Fifth Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition October 2017 in New York City, USA. Winner of the Musica-Juventutis-Auditionwith concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus 2018/19. Second Prize at the composers competition “Jugend komponiert” in Salzburg 2018 (first prize not awarded). Grand Prize (1. Prize over all categories) and special prices at the 3. Internationalen Feurich Competition in June 2018. Grand Prix and special prices at the X. Savshinsky International Music Competition 2019 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
